Hello!

Posted on March 31, 2025March 26, 2026 by Helena Papapostolou

Hi! I’m Helena from Thessaloniki, Greece. My life in music began at a young age at the piano. Today, I am a Music Educator specialising in Classical & Contemporary Piano and Music Theory.

Academic & Musical Background

I hold a Piano Soloist’s Diploma and a Composition Diploma from the Central Conservatory of Thessaloniki.

My academic journey includes specialised degrees in: Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue, Band Conducting and Orchestration and School Choral Conducting.

Furthermore, I spent over eight years studying contemporary piano styles, including Jazz, Blues, Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Latin.

Beyond my musical studies, I graduated from the University of Macedonia with a degree in Economics and Social Studies. I also hold a certification in Business Intelligence and Business Analytics, from the University of Athens (EKPA).

I believe that a teacher’s education never truly ends. Therefore, I’ve attended numerous workshops, webinars, masterclasses in music technology, piano & music pedagogy, composition, conducting, music therapy. Furthermore, I became a Level 1 Kids Yoga Instructor as part of a more holistic educational approach.

I created this website primarily for my students. I want them to have access to the theoretical level of their studies at any time. However, I also welcome every music lover here.

I hope this site supports you in your musical journey or your music education. My goal is for you to find useful information that helps you appreciate the beauty of music.
